The Inventors tab identifies the Top 20 inventors attributed to the portfolio(s) selected, according to the number of patent families their name is attributed to in the time period indicated.

You can use the timeframe slider to adjust the data shown in the chart. In the example below, we can see that the top inventor for the years 2013-2016 is Nicolas Rilat with 41 patent families to his name. 

Switching to the Heatmap view will show how the patent families are split according to technology cluster.

To compare the inventor data of two or more organisations, select the organisation from the sidebar on the left under ‘Organisations’. This will populate the visualisation or table you see on the right.
