Once you create a report in Cipher, this will automatically go into your Report History library. If your report has not finished building, this is where you will be able to monitor its status and access it once completed.

There is no limit to the number of reports you have in your Report History, but please note that any unsaved reports expire after six months of inactivity (no views) and we send notifications to you when reports you have created, are due for deletion. Ensure to save reports to keep them in your account indefinitely.

The elements of the Report History are:

Name – contains the report name. This can be edited from this view by hovering over the report name, and a pencil icon will appear. Click the pencil to rename your report.

Owner – contains the name of the creator of the report – useful if working in a team. Please note that you cannot edit the name of the report if you didn't create it.

Created – shows you the creation date.

Last used – shows you the date you have last viewed the report.

The status – shows you the status of your report: started, completed, queued or failed.

'Report History' Icons

Rename report - The report name can be edited from this view by hovering over the report name, and a pencil icon will appear. Click the pencil to rename your report.

Save report - Click on the red floppy disc save icon to save your report and include the ability to apply a tag (or multiple tags) your report. The 'strikethrough' save icon advises that you have already saved the report.

Edit Report/Copy Report Parameters - To copy the report parameters and use them as a starting point for a new report, click on the red square document icon. By default, the organisations or technologies (classifiers) from your previously created report will be included as its 'initial parameters'. You now have the opportunity to add or remove organisations or technologies into the report. Please note that is this icon is greyed out, you do not have the option to copy report parameters for example, for landscape reports.

Red bin icon - Select this icon to delete the report.

The arrows in the top right corner of this window will allow you to navigate between pages. You can also select 'Page size' to expand out the number of recent reports shown per page.
